Jenny Simpson: More Than Gold

With an astounding win at the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea, three-time Olympian, and New Balance athlete, Jenny Simpson accomplished what no American female middle-distance runner had been able to achieve since the inaugural event in 1983 – taking the World Championship gold medal in the 1500m. Following her win, we produced a short film for New Balance, documenting her rise from her childhood home of Oviedo, Florida, through her college years at the University of Colorado, Boulder, to her home and training grounds in Colorado Springs, connecting with the people that have been there to support her throughout her journey to victory.
